Calgar

This was an early test on doing halo effects with a ball point pen. I think it feels very (for lack of the right term) Renaissance era feeling. Like a rememberancer was doing a portrait and couldn't afford Gold leaf to make a shining Halo so they played around with gradients of their ink. I figured he looked very Regal and Roman and decided It would be a more restrained image of Calgar. Maybe its someone else what do you think?
